Meet the Owner: Surge Skrinik

Hello, my name is Sergey, also known as "Surge", founder of Surge Electrical LLC. My passion is to serve my local community by doing the work I love and know best. My family moved to the United States in 1999 from Moldova in pursuit of the "American Dream". I was a teenager at the time and we were broke, my dad had twenty dollars in his pocket for the six of us when we landed in NY, but thanks God for the good people of this land who helped us get on our feet. I knew I had to work to support myself, so during the school year I took on an office cleaning job, and in the summer it was construction work. After graduating high school I continued developing my construction skills in painting, drywall, carpentry, remodeling, and everything in between until I stumbled upon something that everyone feared, respected, and didn't really comprehend "electricity". Electrical work intrigued me and sparked a curiosity within like nothing else, from that point on I decided to learn and understand how electricity works. In 2008 I was accepted to join the IBEW five-year apprenticeship program and consequently became a journeyman and master electrician. With my vast experience consisting of industrial, commercial, and residential electrical work, I am the pro you want for your project.
